History Cover Supervisor – ASAP Start – Good Ofsted Secondary School

Role Title: Cover Supervisor (History) Daily Rate: £95 to £110 per day Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Long-term

A Good-rated North Manchester secondary school is seeking a History Cover Supervisor to join their team immediately. You will be covering history classes across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering pre-set lessons and ensuring students remain focused in the absence of the regular teacher.

This role has become available due to long-term sickness, and the school is looking for someone who can engage students effectively while maintaining a positive and structured learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in History, Politics, or a related subject (preferred)

• Experience working with secondary school students or supervising classes

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills

• Ability to deliver history lessons and support student learning across different year groups

• Availability to start immediately and complete onboarding quickly
