English Teacher – September Start – Good Ofsted Secondary School

Role Title: English Teacher Daily Rate: £150 to £180 per day Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Long-term

A Good-rated Warrington secondary school is seeking an English Teacher to join their team from September. You will be delivering engaging English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, supporting their progress in literature and language and preparing them for upcoming exams.

This position has become available due to maternity or paternity leave, and the school is looking for someone who can step in confidently, maintain a structured classroom environment, and inspire students to achieve their best.

What We’re Looking For:

• QTS or equivalent qualification in English or a related subject

• Strong subject knowledge and experience delivering English at KS3 and KS4

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• Ability to plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards

• Availability to start in September and complete onboarding beforehand
