Year 4 Teacher – Permanent Role Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Permanent Location: Edgbaston (B15) Salary: M4 – £33,814 per year
A one-form entry primary school in Edgbaston (B15) is seeking a Year 4 Teacher to join the team on a permanent basis from September. The position has become available due to internal promotion, with onboarding beginning this term.
The school was rated Requires Improvement at its last Ofsted inspection and is actively investing in new staff and leadership structures to raise standards. You'll be taking over a class of 29 pupils, with the support of a full-time Teaching Assistant. The school has stable staffing and is committed to raising attainment through consistent teaching, improved assessment, and targeted CPD.
Assessment for learning and pupil engagement are priorities for this class, and you will work closely with the Phase Lead and SENCO to ensure all learners make strong progress.
Requirements:
QTS with recent experience in Key Stage 2
Confident with pupil progress tracking and planning for mixed ability groups
Strong classroom management and positive behaviour strategies
Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and support school priorities
