Primary Teacher – Year 6

Start date: September Contract type: Long-term (until July) Daily rate: £140–£180 (paid PAYE) Onboarding with Elevate Supply begins in May

A forward-thinking primary in Handsworth Wood (B20) is seeking a committed Year 6 teacher to join their upper KS2 team from September. With a recent Ofsted rating of ‘Requires Improvement’, the school has a determined leadership team and a strong focus on raising attainment. The role has opened due to a member of staff taking long-term sick leave, and the school is eager to appoint someone who can deliver structured SATs preparation.

The class is 29 pupils, with a full-time teaching assistant and intervention support available. You'll have access to detailed schemes of work and planning guidance from the existing Year 6 teacher.

Requirements:

• QTS with experience in Upper Key Stage 2

• Proven ability to prepare pupils for SATs

• Strong behaviour management and data tracking skills

• Commitment to teamwork and raising pupil outcomes
