• Day Rate: £160 - £220 per day dependant on experience

• Start Date: Easter 2025

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback

• Prepare students for GCSE examinations and other relevant assessments

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all students

• Use innovative teaching strategies to inspire a passion for English literature and language

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop the English curriculum and share best practices

• Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• A degree in English or a related subject

• Proven experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

• A commitment to continuous professional development and student success
