Location: Birmingham (B13) Start Date: September (onboarding in May) Day Rate: £150 – £200
We’re working with a secondary school in Birmingham that’s seeking a supply Humanities Teacher to join their team for the new academic year. The role involves teaching KS3 and KS4 across History, Geography, and RE to mixed-ability classes of up to 26 students. This position is available due to an unfilled vacancy, and the school is keen to onboard someone in May to prepare for a strong September start.
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and varied lessons across the Humanities subjects
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners
Contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum
Foster a respectful, inclusive classroom culture that promotes critical thinking
Candidate Requirements:
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching Humanities at KS3 and KS4
Confident in planning and delivering across multiple disciplines
Available to work on a supply basis for the full academic year
