Maths Teacher – Sheffield | Elevate Supply

Elevate Supply is excited to be supporting a forward-thinking secondary school in Sheffield, currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team. We are onboarding candidates during the May half term for this full-time role, which will begin at the start of the new academic year in September 2025.

🟢 Pay Rate: £140 – £200 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.

Contract: Full-time position, starting September 2025 📅 Onboarding and interview process will take place during May half term

The Role: As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering a strong understanding and appreciation of mathematics. You’ll join a collaborative department with a focus on driving progress and inspiring a love for the subject.

Your Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support

• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning

• Contribute to departmental planning, CPD and curriculum development

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

• A degree in Mathematics or a related field

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• A commitment to raising attainment and supporting all learners

• An enhanced DBS on the update service is required (or willingness to obtain one through Elevate Supply)

• Available for onboarding and interviews during May half term, and ready to start in September 2025
