Role Title: Teaching Assistant (History Graduate) Daily Rate: £90–£100 Start Date: September 2025 (Onboarding begins May 2025) Contract: Long-term

A dynamic primary school in Ashton-under-Lyne (OL7 postcode) is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant with a degree in History to support Key Stage 2 pupils, particularly in reading, writing, and humanities-based topics. The school is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted and offers a warm, inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, delivering small group interventions and providing classroom support.

Reason for the role: The vacancy has arisen due to a staff team expanding, and the school is looking to secure long-term continuity for the academic year.

Requirements:

• A degree in History

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
