Role Title: Year 1 Teacher Location: BD4 – Bradford Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Permanent

A friendly and inclusive primary school located in the BD4 area of Bradford is seeking a committed Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis starting September 2025. This Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ school is known for its supportive leadership, strong sense of community, and dedication to nurturing every child. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a vibrant Year 1 class of 29 pupils, supported by a full-time Teaching Assistant.

The school is easily accessible from surrounding areas including Tong, Holmewood, East Bowling, and Low Moor, making it a convenient option for candidates in and around the BD4 region.

Reason for the Role This vacancy has arisen due to the relocation of the current class teacher. The school is excited to welcome a passionate and skilled educator who is ready to make a positive and lasting impact.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with experience teaching Key Stage 1—ideally in Year 1

• A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies

• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills

• A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous professional development
