Primary Teacher – Year 2

Start date: September Contract type: Long-term (until July) Daily rate: £140–£180 (paid PAYE) Onboarding with Elevate Supply begins in May

A friendly, well-established primary in Edgbaston (B15) is seeking a Year 2 class teacher from September. Recently graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted, the school has a consistent leadership team and excellent support for early reading and phonics. This opportunity has arisen due to internal promotion, and the incoming teacher will benefit from a well-resourced classroom and established routines.

You’ll be teaching a class of 30 pupils with full-time TA support. Daily Read Write Inc. sessions and White Rose Maths planning are in place, and you’ll have access to shared planning with the parallel Year 2 teacher.

Requirements:

• QTS with Key Stage 1 teaching experience

• Confident in delivering phonics and early literacy interventions

• Committed to inclusive teaching and formative assessment

• Open to working closely with parents and support staff
